Dan Dudley and Associates began presenting training to the public in 1999, initially offering Electrical Exam Preparation training, then expanding into Electrical Continuing Education training and soon after Electrical Safety and Arc Flash training.
From 1994 through 2001, Dan Dudley served as the 5th year and Intermediate Journeyman instructor for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union Apprenticeship Program Local Union 850 (now 602) Lubbock, Texas.
Today Dan Dudley and Associates has trained in excess of 12,000 people in electrical topics ranging from Electrical Safety, Electrical Continuing Education, and Electrical Continuing Education for License Renewal to Electrical Exam Preparation.
Currently our customer base includes over 140 companies with 42 companies operating in the petrochemical and industrial fields, 28 electrical contractors, and 17 Oil and Gas production companies. Included in the above companies are 18 national major Oil and Gas production companies.
In 2004, Dan Dudley and Associates partnered with Saulsbury Industries to develop and direct a formal electrical apprenticeship training program. This program began in August of 2004 and continues presently. The Construction Workforce Training Center is approved and registered by the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training to provide training to seven different craft categories, among them Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Power Line electrical crafts. CWTC is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), as well as the US Veterans Administration and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Dan Dudley and CWTC have been approved for Electrical Continuing Education in 23 states.
In August of 2014 all electrical training was moved to the West Texas Safety Training Center in Odessa, Texas. This move aligned our training programs which are offered to companies’ area wide with a training program and location not associated with any potential competitor. This location is also centrally located to the Midland/Odessa/Permian Basin area.
